YOUR XI
HOW IT WORKS
►︎Zwipe rightpick him

Or use the two buttons at the bottom if you'd rather tap. Skipped players come back round again, so you lose nothing.

How a squad gets built

  • 1. Pick your shape. 4-4-2, 3-5-2, whatever you fancy. That decides how many of each you need.
  • 2. Fill it one line at a time. Keeper, then the back line, then midfield, then your forwards. The bar at the top always says which.
  • 3. Four on the bench. Any positions, and one of them is your supersub.
  • 4. Name a captain. Double points, so pick well.

Only two limits: three per club in your XI and one per club on the bench. If a player can't be picked the card tells you why, so there's nothing to memorise.

When it counts

Your squad is for one round of fixtures. It locks when the first match of that round kicks off, and a Scottish round runs Friday night to Monday night, so that's usually the Friday. Anyone playing on the Monday still scores for you.

Next round, you pick a fresh fifteen.

The rules

  • Get it wrong and you're out. No second chances.
  • Equal numbers count as right.
  • Players come up at random every time, so there's nothing to memorise.

Step one

How are you setting up?

Pick a shape and the game asks for those players, one line at a time. Keeper first, then the back line, then midfield, then your forwards.

Eleven to start, then four on the bench. You can change shape any time before the round kicks off.

First things first

What should we call you?

It's the only thing your mates see on the leaderboard. No email, no password, nothing else asked for — and without one your squads and scores can't be saved anywhere.

Letters and numbers, no spaces, sixteen at most. Don't use your real name.

LEAGUES
A mini-league is just you and your pals. Everyone picks their own squad, and each round you see who did best. Nobody else can see it and nobody else can join unless you send them the link.

Starting one

  1. Name it and send the invite. Do this bit first — get your pals in while you're together.
  2. Everyone picks their own XI. You don't all have to do it at the same time, or even the same day.
  3. The round decides it. Squads lock when the first match kicks off and the real results sort out the table.

Your pals will see this name in the invite, so make it something they'll recognise.

Joining someone else's

If a pal sent you a link, just open it — you're in, nothing to type. If they only gave you the code, put it in here.

Your leagues

You can be in as many as you like, and anyone in a league can invite more people to it.

SETTINGS

The number on each card is what that player actually did in the season you pick here. 2025/26 is the default because it's the last one that finished, so every player has a real record. Once the new season is a few games old you can switch to it and the numbers will mean something.

By position means you fill the keeper and each line in turn, so the game almost never has to refuse a pick. The last three slots are yours to spend anywhere. Mixed is the old way, everyone at once.

Build XI

Fifteen in total. An XI of eleven, then four on the bench.

The XI: one goalkeeper, three to five defenders, three to five midfielders, one to three forwards.

The bench: any four you like, no position rules.

Three per club in your XI. No filling your team with one side.

One per club on the bench, counted separately. So if your favourite team already has three players starting, you can still put one of theirs on the bench. It isn't just whoever's left over.

Zwipe right to pick, left to skip. Skipped players come round again, so there's no rush.

How points work

Daniel's rules, with numbers on them. Not wired to live matches yet.

Goals. Keeper 10 · Defender 8 · Midfielder 6 · Forward 4. The rarer it is, the more it's worth.
Assist. 3, whoever you are.
Clean sheet. Keeper 4 · Defender 3 · Midfielder 1. A keeper's clean sheet is worth the same as a striker scoring.
Keeper conceding. −1 each for the first three, then −2 each after that.
Cards. Yellow −1 · Red −3. Own goal −2.
Playing. 1 point for getting on the pitch. Didn't play, nothing at all.

Hat-trick. Three in one match and that player's goals are tripled.
Captain. Doubles their whole total.
Supersub. Double for an assist, treble for a goal.
Multipliers don't stack. If a hat-trick and the supersub both apply, you get the bigger one, not both. The captain's double goes on top of that.

A fresh squad every round. Your fifteen only counts for one round of fixtures. When the next one comes round you pick again from scratch, so a good week never carries you and a bad one never sinks you.
No swaps once it's locked. Your squad locks when the first match of the round kicks off. A Scottish round runs across four days, Friday night to Monday night, so the deadline is usually the Friday even though most of the football is on the Saturday. Anyone playing on the Monday still scores for you. Get your squad in early.
