Short and honest
Most players are under 13, so this matters. No legalese, just what's true.
What we store
- The nickname a player chooses.
- Their best score.
- A device code that lets the game remember the player on their phone.
- A hashed recovery code so a player can get their nickname back on a new phone. Hashed means we store a scrambled version, not the code itself.
What we don't collect
No real name. No email. No age. No location. No photos. No messages. We don't ask for personal information, and there's no form on this site that collects any.
Where it's kept
On Cloudflare, which is where the site and the game's small database run. Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared with any third party.
Cookies and tracking
There are no cookies used for tracking, and no analytics that follow players around the web. There are no ad networks. The device code is stored on the player's own device so the game can recognise them, and it isn't used to track anything off this site.
Removing a nickname
Email design@poweronmedia.com with the nickname and it'll be removed, along with its record. No catch, no questions.
Use the same address to report a nickname that shouldn't be on the board.
Who runs this
Fanzwipe was built in Edinburgh by a dad and his 12-year-old son. It isn't a company product, it's a game made for one boy that other people are welcome to play.
